Manufacturing Capabilities

Accmer paper Vitaco Health Ltd is of a large organisation that owns a state-of-the-art dietary supplement manufacturing site. The location has an NZFSA RMP Certificate, and is GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) registered.

In 2009, this site underwent major expansion and has seen the installation of new equipment, computer software upgrades, a new laboratory area, extended office area and more.

In addition to the state-of-the-art GMP food supplement facilities, Vitaco also owns the purpose built Biolane® factory in Avondale. This is the production site of the unique Biolane^® Extract, and the factory is also used for contract freeze drying and milling.

Contract Freeze Drying and Milling Service

Freeze Drying	Freeze drying preserves the precious flavours, aromas, colours and texture of the original material. Freeze drying produces a superior, shelf-stable dried product. Vitaco’s Avondale factory operates tray Freeze Driers, and can process fresh or frozen material of a wide range of sizes. Products can be Freeze Dried to ≤ 5.0% moisture.
Milling	A range of milling equipment and sieves ensure that we provide your product in the particle size you require. Particle size options range from ≤ 10.0mm to ≤ 100µm.
Packaging	We can supply products in bulk or gas flushed foil bags. We can also offer encapsulating, tabletting, bottling, sachets or canned product formats at our GMP- registered, pharmaceutically-licensed factory in East Tamaki, Auckland.
Product Development	We will develop your idea with you. Together we can trial it through the various stages to produce the best possible product.
Regulatory	Vitaco’s Avondale factory is registered as a fish processing factory for export, including to the USA and the EU. The factory is also registered as a Meat and Game processing factory for non EU and USA destinations.
Quality Control & Assurance	Vitaco’s quality standards exceed the most stringent local and international regulations, allowing your product to compete both in New Zealand and worldwide. We have our own (certified) Quality Assurance laboratory with qualified staff who monitor the entire production process from raw materials through to finished and packed goods.
Export Documentation	Vitaco’s Export department can help you to ensure that your product meets all import standards, and has all the shipping documentation required for smooth entry into its destination country.
